Em abril de 2014, a institui\u00e7\u00e3o se tornou o primeiro hospital da Regi\u00e3o Norte a realizar\u00a0o\u00a0procedimento.<\/p>\n<p>O receptor, um paciente de 52 anos natural de Cruzeiro do Sul, havia sido diagnosticado com cirrose hep\u00e1tica e estava em tratamento quando surgiu a compatibilidade com o \u00f3rg\u00e3o do doador. A chegada ao 100\u00ba ser\u00e1, sem d\u00favida, um marco hist\u00f3rico para a medicina acreana e para todos que acreditam na for\u00e7a do SUS\u201d, declarou.<\/p>\n<p>A coordenadora do Servi\u00e7o de Transplantes da Fundhacre, Val\u00e9ria Monteiro, destacou a import\u00e2ncia do marco e o empenho da equipe. \u201cTodo o procedimento foi um sucesso, conforme o esperado, e os resultados do Programa de Transplantes do Acre refor\u00e7am o quanto esse \u00e9 um servi\u00e7o consolidado e com uma equipe empenhada e tecnicamente preparada para procedimentos de alta complexidade\u201d, afirmou.<\/p>\n<p>O transplante foi poss\u00edvel gra\u00e7as ao gesto de uma fam\u00edlia acreana que, mesmo diante da dor da perda de um ente querido, optou pela doa\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00f3rg\u00e3os.
