Foto: Rafa Neddermeyer\/Ag\u00eancia Brasil\" \/><figcaption class=\"credito-foto abs-position fullwidth\">\u00a9 Rafa Neddermeyer\/Ag\u00eancia Brasil<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"block-tts-block-tts\" class=\"block block-tts\">\n<div class=\"content\">\n<div id=\"tts-container\" class=\"container-audio rel-position\">\n<div class=\"title abs-position\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"conteudo-noticia\">\n<p><strong>O governo dos Pa\u00edses Baixos (Holanda) anunciou nesta segunda-feira (26) que pretende investir US$500 milh\u00f5es no<a href=\"https:\/\/agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br\/meio-ambiente\/noticia\/2025-11\/entenda-como-funciona-o-fundo-florestas-tropicais-para-sempre\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Fundo Florestas Tropicais para Sempre (TFFF<\/a>, na sigla em ingl\u00eas). <\/strong>O mecanismo internacional de financiamento foi idealizado pelo Brasil e lan\u00e7ado durante a 30\u00aa Confer\u00eancia das Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas sobre Mudan\u00e7as Clim\u00e1ticas (COP30), realizada em Bel\u00e9m, em 2025.<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br\/ebc.png?id=1706860&amp;o=node\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br\/ebc.gif?id=1706860&amp;o=node\" \/><\/p>\n<p>O aporte n\u00e3o ser\u00e1 feito todo de uma vez, mas dividido ao longo de um per\u00edodo de 10 anos. <strong>Segundo o an\u00fancio do governo, o investimento refor\u00e7a a ambi\u00e7\u00e3o do pa\u00eds em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0s metas clim\u00e1ticas internacionais e \u00e0 biodiversidade.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>O ministro do Com\u00e9rcio Exterior e Coopera\u00e7\u00e3o para o Desenvolvimento, Sjoerd Sjoerdsma, disse que preservar as florestas \u00e9 fundamental para enfrentar as mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas, que amea\u00e7am seguran\u00e7a, prosperidade e liberdades.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIsso reduz as emiss\u00f5es e \u00e9 essencial para a resili\u00eancia dos ecossistemas, da biodiversidade e do abastecimento alimentar global. Por meio deste compromisso, oferecemos aos pa\u00edses um incentivo s\u00f3lido e previs\u00edvel para proteger e conservar suas florestas tropicais\u201d, disse Sjoerdsma.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Com o an\u00fancio, os Pa\u00edses Baixos passam a integrar uma <a href=\"https:\/\/agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br\/meio-ambiente\/noticia\/2026-09\/reino-unido-anuncia-ps400-milhoes-para-fundo-florestas-tropicais\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">coaliz\u00e3o internacional <\/a>que j\u00e1 anunciou inten\u00e7\u00e3o de contribuir com o investimento. Entre os pa\u00edses\u00a0est\u00e3o Brasil, Noruega, Luxemburgo,\u00a0 Indon\u00e9sia, Alemanha, Fran\u00e7a, Portugal e Reino Unido.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Os investidores que comprarem os t\u00edtulos emitidos pelo TFFF receber\u00e3o juros fixos e est\u00e1veis. J\u00e1 os pa\u00edses que conseguirem recuperar e manter suas florestas de p\u00e9 ser\u00e3o recompensados financeiramente por esse esfor\u00e7o. Eles s\u00f3 receber\u00e3o os valores ap\u00f3s verifica\u00e7\u00e3o por imagens de sat\u00e9lite que confirmem n\u00edveis de desmatamento abaixo de limites pr\u00e9-definidos.<\/p>\n<p>O fundo tamb\u00e9m prev\u00ea um protagonismo das popula\u00e7\u00f5es ind\u00edgenas e povos e comunidades tradicionais, que desempenham papel direto na prote\u00e7\u00e3o das florestas. O mecanismo prop\u00f5e destinar pelo menos 20% dos pagamentos nacionais a essas popula\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Os idealizadores do TFFF estimam que ele poder\u00e1 proteger mais de 1 bilh\u00e3o de hectares de florestas em mais de 70 pa\u00edses.
