A de que se o uso de enxaguante bucal com clorexidina 2 vezes ao dia em alguns dias mudaria as comunidades bacterianas orais e os n\u00edveis de press\u00e3o arterial em indiv\u00edduos saud\u00e1veis analisados.<\/p>\n<p>Eles coletaram amostras de saliva e raspagem de l\u00edngua dos participantes. Depois mediram a press\u00e3o arterial deles no in\u00edcio do estudo, bem como sete, dez e 14 dias depois.<\/p>\n<p>Os resultados indicaram que o uso de enxaguante bucal com clorexidina (\u00e9 um antiss\u00e9ptico qu\u00edmico com a\u00e7\u00e3o antibacteriana) duas vezes ao dia foi associado com um aumento significativo na press\u00e3o arterial sist\u00f3lica. A elimina\u00e7\u00e3o destas bact\u00e9rias pelo uso do enxaguante bucal todos os dias acaba se tornando um problema. Uma vez que o aumento da press\u00e3o arterial tem um impacto significativo na mortalidade por doen\u00e7as do cora\u00e7\u00e3o e derrames.<\/p>\n<p>Bact\u00e9rias orais respons\u00e1veis pela produ\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00f3xido n\u00edtrico s\u00e3o importantes para a manuten\u00e7\u00e3o da press\u00e3o arterial em seus n\u00edveis adequados.<\/p>\n<p>Embora nem todos os enxaguantes bucais contenham clorexidina, surge um alerta.
