As informa\u00e7\u00f5es s\u00e3o do jornal estadunidense The New York Times.  <\/p>\n<p>Nesta quinta-feira, a a\u00e7\u00e3o movida pelos advogados de Trump contra o juiz Arthur Engoron, com objetivo de adiar o julgamento e anular muitas das acusa\u00e7\u00f5es, foi rejeitada pelo tribunal de apela\u00e7\u00f5es. Com a negativa, o julgamento ter\u00e1 in\u00edcio na pr\u00f3xima semana.<\/p>\n<h3>Entenda o caso<\/h3>\n<p>A a\u00e7\u00e3o contra Trump foi movida no ano passado pela procuradora-geral de Nova York, Letitia James. Segundo ela, o ex-presidente exagerou seu patrim\u00f4nio l\u00edquido em at\u00e9 US$ 2,2 bilh\u00f5es com o objetivo de obter condi\u00e7\u00f5es favor\u00e1veis de empr\u00e9stimos banc\u00e1rios.<\/p>\n<div>  <\/div>\n<p class=\"\">Na ter\u00e7a-feira (26), o  <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimosegundo.ig.com.br\/mundo\/2023-09-27\/justica-nova-york-donald-trump-fraude.html\" data-mce-href=\"https:\/\/ultimosegundo.ig.com.br\/mundo\/2023-09-27\/justica-nova-york-donald-trump-fraude.html\">juiz Arthur Engoron considerou Trump culpado<\/a> pelo caso, e retirou do ex-presidente o controle de propriedades em Nova York.  <\/p>\n<p>Na atual situa\u00e7\u00e3o, Trump pode contestar a decis\u00e3o de Engoron, buscando uma pausa de emerg\u00eancia no julgamento. Essa contesta\u00e7\u00e3o, por\u00e9m, precisa ser aceita pelo tribunal de apela\u00e7\u00f5es, que j\u00e1 recusou recurso anterior de Trump.<\/p>\n<p>No julgamento que se inicia na segunda-feira, Engoron deve decidir se Trump e sua empresa ser\u00e3o penalizados financeiramente.
