O presidente Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva publicou, na manh\u00e3 desta quarta-feira (11), na rede social X (antigo Twitter), um apelo ao secret\u00e1rio-geral da Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o das Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas (ONU), Ant\u00f3nio Guterres, e \u00e0 comunidade internacional,\u00a0em defesa das crian\u00e7as palestinas e israelenses.<\/p>\n

“Quero fazer um apelo ao secret\u00e1rio-geral da ONU, Ant\u00f3nio Guterres, e \u00e0 comunidade internacional para que, juntos e com urg\u00eancia, lancemos m\u00e3o de todos os recursos para p\u00f4r fim \u00e0 mais grave viola\u00e7\u00e3o aos direitos humanos no conflito no Oriente M\u00e9dio”, escreveu Lula.<\/p>\n

Para o presidente, s\u00e3o urgentes uma interven\u00e7\u00e3o humanit\u00e1ria internacional e, tamb\u00e9m, o cessar fogo em defesa das crian\u00e7as israelenses e palestinas.<\/p>\n

Na postagem, o presidente Lula diz, ainda, que o grupo Hamas [Movimento de Resist\u00eancia Isl\u00e2mica] precisa libertar as crian\u00e7as israelenses sequestradas de suas fam\u00edlias.\u00a0 No mesmo texto, o presidente brasileiro diz tamb\u00e9m que \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio que\u00a0Israel cesse o bombardeio na Faixa de Gaza, para que as crian\u00e7as palestinas e as m\u00e3es delas deixem este territ\u00f3rio palestino que faz fronteira com o Egito.<\/p>\n

Por fim, Lula diz que o Brasil, na presid\u00eancia provis\u00f3ria do Conselho de Seguran\u00e7a da ONU, neste m\u00eas de outubro, vai trabalhar pela paz e se juntar\u00e1 aos esfor\u00e7os para que cesse de imediato e em definitivo o conflito. “[O Brasil] continuar\u00e1 trabalhando pela promo\u00e7\u00e3o da paz e em defesa dos direitos humanos no mundo”.<\/p>\n
