Nesta sexta-feira (12), o vice-chefe do Hezbollah, o Xeque Naim Qassem,<\/a> disse que o grupo est\u00e1 “pronto” e “contribuir\u00e1” para os confrontos contra Israel. Pot\u00eancias estrangeiras pediram para o grupo, que \u00e9 financiado pelo Ir\u00e3, manter-se fora do conflito, mas o vice-l\u00edder afirmou que eles j\u00e1 t\u00eam um plano tra\u00e7ado e agir\u00e3o “quando chegar a hora”.<\/p>\n

De acordo com Qassem, grande parte da comunidade internacional, incluindo pa\u00edses \u00e1rabes e a Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o das Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas (ONU), <\/a> disse “direta e indiretamente” para que o Hezbollah<\/strong> “n\u00e3o interfira” no conflito entre Israel<\/strong> e Hamas, que come\u00e7ou ap\u00f3s um ataque surpresa do Hamas ao pa\u00eds no \u00faltimo s\u00e1bado (7).<\/a> <\/p>\n

“O Hezbollah conhece perfeitamente os seus deveres. Estamos preparados e prontos, totalmente prontos, e acompanhamos os desenvolvimentos momento a momento”, disse ele. <\/p>\n

Fontes disseram \u00e0 CNN <\/em> que o Hezbollah<\/a> j\u00e1 definiu a\u00e7\u00f5es com \u00e2mbito limitado para evitar uma repercuss\u00e3o maior no L\u00edbano.<\/p>\n

Embora Qassem seja o oficial mais graduado do grupo, o chefe do Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, ainda n\u00e3o se pronunciou desde o in\u00edcio dos conflitos.<\/p>\n

“A pergunta que todos esperam \u00e9: o que o Hezbollah far\u00e1 e qual ser\u00e1 a sua contribui\u00e7\u00e3o?”, disse o vice-chefe. “Contribuiremos para o confronto dentro do nosso plano. Quando chegar a hora de qualquer a\u00e7\u00e3o, n\u00f3s vamos agir.” <\/p>\n

Aliado do Hamas, o Hezbollah surgiu durante a Guerra Civil do L\u00edbano, entre 1980 e 1990. <\/a> No mundo isl\u00e2mico, a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o pol\u00edtica e paramilitar \u00e9 vista como um movimento de resist\u00eancia, j\u00e1 no mundo ocidental, \u00e9 tido como uma organiza\u00e7\u00e3o terrorista por diversos pa\u00edses.<\/p>\n

A organiza\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong> ganhou notoriedade no mundo mu\u00e7ulmano xiita ap\u00f3s ter levado Israel a desocupar o sul do L\u00edbano, em maio de 2000.<\/p>\n
