A proposta de um corredor humanit\u00e1rio via mar, com base no Chipre, para transportar ajuda aos civis de Gaza<\/a> por meio de navios, pode ser aprovada por Israel sob a condi\u00e7\u00e3o de “poder verificar os cont\u00eaineres”.<\/p>\n

A informa\u00e7\u00e3o foi dada neste s\u00e1bado (4) por fontes europeias a um pequeno grupo de m\u00eddia, incluindo o pool de ag\u00eancias de not\u00edcias da European Newsroom, da qual a ANSA faz parte.<\/p>\n

A proposta foi lan\u00e7ada na c\u00fapula da Uni\u00e3o Europeia, nos dias 26 e 27 de outubro. A UE diz trabalhar intensamente com o Chipre para tentar estabelecer o corredor mar\u00edtimo para a ajuda direcionada \u00e0 Faixa de Gaza, sem mais passagens intermedi\u00e1rias pelo Egito.<\/p>\n

Essas fontes tamb\u00e9m declararam que o voto sobre a resolu\u00e7\u00e3o da Assembleia Geral da ONU para um cessar-fogo humanit\u00e1rio em Gaza reflete o “espelho do profundo passado que compartilhamos”, em refer\u00eancia \u00e0s diferentes posi\u00e7\u00f5es dos Estados membros da UE na vota\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

“Vimos de posi\u00e7\u00f5es muito diferentes em nossa hist\u00f3ria. Essa hist\u00f3ria est\u00e1 se repetindo. A pr\u00f3pria Europa est\u00e1 em dificuldades”, acrescentam as fontes, expressando surpresa com a posi\u00e7\u00e3o tanto da Fran\u00e7a, que votou a favor, quanto da Alemanha, que optou pela absten\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

A Alemanha, segundo as fontes, “\u00e9 conhecida por ser uma s\u00f3lida aliada de Israel, e com boas raz\u00f5es”.<\/p>\n

Olhando para o futuro, as fontes enfatizam a exist\u00eancia de “um consenso comum” sobre a necessidade de “pensar em como desenvolver uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o de dois Estados, com todas as implica\u00e7\u00f5es e dificuldades”, uma perspectiva que, no entanto, \u00e9 considerada “impens\u00e1vel com o Hamas ativo”.<\/p>\n
