O Instituto Nacional de Coloniza\u00e7\u00e3o e Reforma Agr\u00e1ria (Incra) reconheceu pouco mais de 707 hectares – onde vive a comunidade Soledade – como territ\u00f3rio quilombola, no munic\u00edpio de Serrano do Maranh\u00e3o. A medida – publicada no Di\u00e1rio Oficial da Uni\u00e3o <\/em><\/a>desta quinta-feira (4) – assegura a 50 fam\u00edlias o direito de permanecer nas terras onde resistiram ao regime escravocrata e mant\u00eam at\u00e9 hoje suas tradi\u00e7\u00f5es e cultura.<\/p>\n

A publica\u00e7\u00e3o determina, ainda, o in\u00edcio do processo de an\u00e1lise para reconhecimento dos agricultores familiares remanescentes de quilombo como benefici\u00e1rios Programa Nacional de Reforma Agr\u00e1ria. Com a cria\u00e7\u00e3o do assentamento, a partir do mapeamento da Superintend\u00eancia Regional do Incra no Maranh\u00e3o e da autoriza\u00e7\u00e3o da Diretoria de Desenvolvimento e Consolida\u00e7\u00e3o de Projetos de Assentamento, as fam\u00edlias ter\u00e3o acesso a mais pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas que viabilizem as atividades de uso sustent\u00e1vel do territ\u00f3rio.<\/p>\n

Pesca<\/h2>\n

Al\u00e9m da agricultura familiar, a comunidade de Soledade tem a subsist\u00eancia na pesca desde quando as primeiras fam\u00edlias chegaram \u00e0 regi\u00e3o, por volta de 1840. Em 2016, Soledade foi reconhecida como comunidade quilombola pela Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Cultural Palmares, tr\u00eas anos ap\u00f3s constituir a Associa\u00e7\u00e3o da Comunidade Quilombolas dos Negros Pequenos Produtores Rurais da Regi\u00e3o da Soledade e iniciar o processo junto ao Incra pela titularidade das terras.<\/p>\n

Em novembro de 2019, a comunidade foi a primeira no estado a ter o territ\u00f3rio reconhecido pelo Instituto de Coloniza\u00e7\u00e3o e Terras do Maranh\u00e3o (Iterma) (https:\/\/cpisp.org.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/T_Soledade-SerranodoMaranhaoMAIterma2019.pdf). Atualmente, no munic\u00edpio, outras tr\u00eas comunidades quilombolas j\u00e1 possuem o t\u00edtulo concedido pelo estado: Santo Ant\u00f4nio, S\u00e3o Benedito e Deus Bem Sabe.<\/p>\n
