O premi\u00ea de Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu,<\/a> reiterou sua contrariedade \u00e0 soberania palestina na Faixa de Gaza,<\/a> elemento defendido pela comunidade internacional como parte da constru\u00e7\u00e3o da solu\u00e7\u00e3o dos dois Estados.<\/p>\n

O primeiro-ministro conversou por telefone com o presidente dos Estados Unidos, Joe Biden, <\/a> na noite da \u00faltima sexta-feira (19) e, segundo seu gabinete, reiterou que “Israel deve manter o pleno controle da seguran\u00e7a na Faixa de Gaza<\/strong> para garantir que ela n\u00e3o represente mais uma amea\u00e7a”.<\/p>\n

“E isso est\u00e1 em conflito com a exig\u00eancia de soberania palestina”, acrescentou o governo Netanyahu,<\/a> ap\u00f3s a divulga\u00e7\u00e3o de not\u00edcias de que ele n\u00e3o teria se oposto \u00e0 solu\u00e7\u00e3o de dois Estados na conversa com Biden.<\/p>\n

“Ele repetiu sua posi\u00e7\u00e3o coerente h\u00e1 anos”, garantiu o gabinete do premi\u00ea.
Na \u00faltima sexta, o presidente americano foi questionado se a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de um Estado palestino seria imposs\u00edvel com Netanyahu<\/a> e respondeu que “n\u00e3o”. “Existem diversos tipos de solu\u00e7\u00f5es com dois Estados.<\/p>\n

H\u00e1 pa\u00edses membros da ONU<\/a> que n\u00e3o t\u00eam for\u00e7as armadas, acho que \u00e9 uma modalidade que poderia funcionar”, ressaltou Biden.<\/a> <\/p>\n

Durante a conversa, os dois l\u00edderes, segundo a Casa Branca, tamb\u00e9m falaram sobre os “esfor\u00e7os para libertar todos os ref\u00e9ns” em poder do Hamas, enquanto Biden reiterou a Netanyahu a responsabilidade de Israel de “proteger os civis”.<\/p>\n

A guerra<\/strong> foi deflagrada em 7 de outubro, quando o grupo fundamentalista isl\u00e2mico cometeu atentados sem precedentes em Israel, com um saldo de 1,2 mil mortos, em sua maioria civis.<\/p>\n

Desde ent\u00e3o, as autoridades de Gaza<\/strong> dizem que a rea\u00e7\u00e3o israelense j\u00e1 vitimou 24.927 palestinos, incluindo cerca de 10 mil crian\u00e7as.<\/p>\n
