No ano passado, 530,6 milh\u00f5es de toneladas \u00fateis foram transportadas por trens. Os dados constam do relat\u00f3rio da Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Nacional dos Transportadores Ferrovi\u00e1rios (ANTF).<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br\/ebc.png?id=1581305&#038;o=node\" style=\"width:1px;height:1px\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br\/ebc.gif?id=1581305&#038;o=node\" style=\"width:1px;height:1px\"><\/p>\n<p>Segundo a ANTF, esse \u00e9 o terceiro maior volume da s\u00e9rie hist\u00f3rica, s\u00f3 perdendo para o recorde de 569,4 milh\u00f5es de toneladas \u00fateis registrado em 2018 e de 538,3 milh\u00f5es obtido em 2017. De 2006 a 2023, destacou o relat\u00f3rio, o volume de carga transportado por ferrovia no Brasil aumentou 64%.<\/p>\n<p>Ao desconsiderar as cargas de min\u00e9rio de ferro, o desempenho melhora ainda mais. No ano passado, o transporte ferrovi\u00e1rio de carga geral \u2013 produtos agr\u00edcolas, combust\u00edveis, cont\u00eaineres e demais cargas \u2013 somou 148,6 milh\u00f5es de toneladas \u00fateis. Esse foi o maior volume para a categoria desde 2005, quando tinham sido movimentadas 149,6 milh\u00f5es de toneladas \u00fateis.<\/p>\n<p>Em nota, a\u00a0Casa Civil atribuiu o crescimento \u00e0 recupera\u00e7\u00e3o da economia e ao aumento das parcerias com a iniciativa privada. Segundo a pasta, a combina\u00e7\u00e3o de investimentos p\u00fablicos e privados permite a melhoria da malha ferrovi\u00e1ria.<\/p>\n<p>Entre as principais realiza\u00e7\u00f5es, a Casa Civil citou a retomada dos investimentos na Ferrovia de Integra\u00e7\u00e3o Oeste-Leste (Fiol) 1 e a intensifica\u00e7\u00e3o das obras da Ferrovia de Integra\u00e7\u00e3o Centro Oeste (Fico). A pasta tamb\u00e9m lembrou que o novo Programa de Acelera\u00e7\u00e3o do Crescimento (PAC) prev\u00ea mais de R$ 94 bilh\u00f5es em investimentos p\u00fablicos e privados no transporte ferrovi\u00e1rio at\u00e9 2026.<\/p>\n<p>O governo tamb\u00e9m cita o aprimoramento dos contratos com as concession\u00e1rias de ferrovias e a elabora\u00e7\u00e3o de uma pol\u00edtica de incentivos \u00e0 devolu\u00e7\u00e3o de trechos ociosos e inoperantes para aumentar a efici\u00eancia da malha ferrovi\u00e1ria nos pr\u00f3ximos anos.
