O advogado foi escolhido a partir de uma lista tr\u00edplice encaminhada pelo pr\u00f3prio tribunal, e que contava ainda com as indica\u00e7\u00f5es de Adriano Costa Avelino e Roseline Rabelo de Jesus Morais. A indica\u00e7\u00e3o foi oficializada em <a href=\"https:\/\/www.in.gov.br\/web\/dou\/-\/despacho-do-presidente-da-republica-557085167\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">edi\u00e7\u00e3o extra do <em>Di\u00e1rio Oficial da Uni\u00e3o<\/em> (<em>DOU<\/em>)<\/a>, nesta ter\u00e7a-feira (30), e precisa ser aprovada pelo Senado Federal.<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br\/ebc.png?id=1593043&#038;o=node\" style=\"width:1px;height:1px\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br\/ebc.gif?id=1593043&#038;o=node\" style=\"width:1px;height:1px\"><\/p>\n<p>De acordo com a Constitui\u00e7\u00e3o Federal, um quinto das vagas do TST \u00e9 destinada\u00a0a integrantes das carreiras da advocacia e do Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico do Trabalho. No caso de vagas destinadas \u00e0 advocacia, coube \u00e0 Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil (OAB) encaminhar ao TST uma lista com seis nomes, que foi em seguida reduzida a tr\u00eas nomes em vota\u00e7\u00e3o dos ministros da corte, para ser levada \u00e0 Presid\u00eancia da Rep\u00fablica.<\/p>\n<h2>Perfil<\/h2>\n<p>Ant\u00f4nio Fabr\u00edcio de Matos Gon\u00e7alves presidiu a se\u00e7\u00e3o de Minas Gerais da Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil (OAB-MG), entre 2016 e 2018, foi conselheiro federal e presidente da Comiss\u00e3o Nacional de Direitos Sociais da OAB Nacional (2019\/2022), al\u00e9m de ter dirigido a Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Brasileira de Advogados Trabalhistas (Abrat), entre 2012 e 2014. Com longa carreira na advocacia trabalhista, atuou no Tribunal Regional do Trabalho da 3\u00aa Regi\u00e3o e no TST.
